CARE’s promise to you: Each gift in the CAREgifts Catalogue is part of a CARE development project: in water and sanitation, education, health or livelihood improvement that will assist people in poor communities. This means CARE will ensure that all donations from the sale of, for example, a piglet contributes to the sector which this item is associated with. In the case of a piglet, funds will be used to assist poor and vulnerable communities to improve their livelihoods.
All of CARE’s projects include the participation of the community members and provide training to manage their own development, as well as the management of the project by CARE staff in the field. Items are also selected in consultation and participation with the communities we work with.
